An alleged sex video of murdered actor Ramgen Revilla and his girlfriend, Janelle Manahan, has leaked online, sparking outrage from the lone witness in Ramgen’s murder.

The video, which spread via Facebook and Twitter, is authentic, according to Janelle’s lawyer, Argee Guevarra. He said Janelle was shocked and cried after learning that the video was spreading virally.

“This video represents the second assassination of Ramgen and second frustrated murder of Janelle orchestrated and masterminded by the Bautista household,” Argee Guevarra said in a Philippine Star report.

The lawyer alleged that one of the younger siblings of Ramgen had been blackmailing Janelle through Facebook messages.

“She was told ‘you are not clean ate (elder sister) Janelle,’” he said.

Argee Guevarra added that only someone with an access to the Bautista’s computer can upload the video.

“That video was stored in Ramgen’s computer and later transferred to one of the computers of the Bautista household,” he said.

Janelle is a witness against two siblings of Revilla – Ramon Joseph and Ramona – who were tagged as masterminds in his Oct. 28 murder.

Janelle also wanted another Revilla’s younger sibling, Gail, and her husband Hiro Furuyama included in the charge sheet.

In a separate phone interview, Bautista family lawyer Jeffrey Gepte said it’s “absurd” to blame the family because “it’s a private matter between Ramgen and Janelle. So it would be very absurd for the whole Bautista family to know about it.”

Before Janelle’s lawyer starts pointing fingers, Jeffrey Gepte said they should first find out if only Ramgen had a copy of the video.

Bong hunts for uploader

Sen. Bong Revilla, Ramgen’s half-brother, is asking the National Bureau of Investigation to help identify and prosecute the perpetrators behind the online uploading of the video.

Sobrang pambababoy ang ginagawa nila sa kapatid ko. Karumal-dumal na nga ang pagkamatay ni Ramgen, sinisira pa nila ang pagkatao,” Bong said in a statement.

“Mas grabe pa ang pambababoy na ginagawa nila kay Janelle. Grabe na ang kanyang pinagdaanan, at pilit pa nilang niyuyurakan ang pagkababae nito ngayon,” he added.

Bong asked the NBI to conduct an investigation and arrest the culprits and prosecute them under the Anti-Voyeurism Law of 2009 (RA 9995), which punishes the unauthorized and unconsented publication and uploading of videos. Bong is a co-author of the law.

The senator said every person who downloads, copies and sends the video is guilty of violating the law, regardless if they were the original uploaders.
